Test your controller

step 1

Plug the Zen into the PROG port — the one on the side, not the console port. Put your playing pad into the PC and a second pad into Zen port A1, then connect. The bars show what is being sent to the Zen.

Connecting takes the pad over. It stays dead until you replug the Zen — there is no release.

Don't see your Zen in the picker?

You probably used the console or front USB port. It has to be PROG.
Your playing pad goes into the PC. A second pad has to sit in Zen port A1 or the Zen does nothing.
It shows up as Cronus Bridge. If it does not appear at all, add ?all=1 to the URL.
Replug the cable after switching ports.
Once connected, the pad stays dead until you replug the Zen. There is no release command.
